Castle Dungeons are among the most dangerous and expansive structures in RLCraft Bedrock Edition. Arguably rivaling the Skyspire in difficulty but surpassing it in sheer size. On the surface, these majestic castles appear to be only half the height of a Skyspire, but beneath them lies a sprawling, multi-layered dungeon that stretches in all directions.

The layout is a chaotic maze of tunnels, large chambers, and hidden areas, all crawling with mobs from a wide variety of spawners. There are multiple paths to explore, but only one leads to the final boss room, a fight against one of the Battle Tower bosses, but now encountered in a far more claustrophobic and unforgiving environment.

When a Castle Dungeon spawns, players receive a chat notification, similar to the Skyspire event. However, unlike the Skyspire, Castle Dungeons do not build layer by layer. The underground layout remains largely consistent across each of the four biome-specific variants, though room themes and mob types may vary.

Speedrun Path to the Boss

For players seeking the fastest route to the final boss, follow this optimized path:

1. Enter the castle and head straight down the spiral staircase.
2. You’ll reach a room with four hallways:
   • One leads to a library.
   • One leads to a Warpstone  and two NPC’s.
   • One leads into a dripstone cave.
   • One is blocked by metal bars—this is your path.
3. Break the bars and enter a large room with a chest and spawners (typically Crocodiles, Knights, and Dwarves).
4. Continue into the next room with a small NPC structure surrounded by pools of Crocodiles. This room also has four exits:
   • One leads to a maze.
   • One loops back to the library.
   • One has a chest at the end of the hallway—take this path.
5. Around the corner is a room guarded by Orcs led by a Cyclops, plus Spider and Bogged spawners. Defeat them to access two Trial Chamber chests.
6. Proceed through the hallway to another spiral staircase.
7. Descend into the Spider Cave, filled with webs, Spider and Cave Spider spawners, and stalagmite floors.
   • Use the middle path for the fastest route across.
   • Follow the hall at the other side of the room to the right to reach a long corridor with more Bogged spawners, a small camp, and a prep area with crafting stations and another NPC.
8. Here lies the final boss room. Once defeated, you’ll find three small chests behind metal bars containing your reward.
